One detail that’s often overlooked is the type of lighting. Cool-white LED panels or grow lights with a higher blue component support compact, sturdy growth. If you want plantlets in a darker hallway, you can use a timer to provide 10 to 11 hours of artificial light per day and control day length precisely.
Water quality can matter too. In areas with very hard tap water, limescale can build up around the roots over time. Many growers switch to tap water that has been left to stand, or to rainwater.
